Products treated like authentic technological jewels in large frames, eco-friendly and sustainable against a vast green backdrop and gleaming pure white floor. This is ST Rubinetterie at Cersaie 2010. A carefully made choice. Today the dominating trend is basically ethics: everything now rotates around the concepts of bio-building, bio-energy, bio-friendly – from the food sector to taps. So at Cersaie 2010 ST Rubinetterie presents Shark, designed, like the stand, by Simone Micheli and perfectly in line with this eco-trend.
Those who know the company, see it for what it is: one of the few that produce everything in-house, with scrupulous attention to quality and certified suppliers, starting with top-level raw materials, such as those with a low lead or nickel content for the chroming process. A manufacturer ready to meet the highest standards requested by foreign markets, with technical feasibility studies for projects. A sturdy flexible background and quality without condescendence allow ST Rubinetterie to satisfy each and every one of its clients’ needs. Founded in 1998 with project by F.lli Saglio Trombone srl, the family-run company on the metal hardware market since 1969, and the result of a desire to reinvest accumulated experience and vast technological know-how in the tap sector, ST Rubinetterie decided to propose ‘precious’ new bathroom-specific collections, with the aim of creating a recognisable brand that was totally made in Italy.
In order to do so it makes use of every single tool available: from a company catalogue to bespoke displays, a technical catalogue and user-friendly brochure, right through to specific communication programmes for showrooms and carefully studied trade fair stands.
Attention to details and research into the product, together with the functionality of the lines, high levels of craftsmanship in production are the fundamental factors for ST Rubinetterie, which has always substantiated design with the solidity of technological research. This is why it has supported the Poli.Design-Consorzio at Milan Polytechnic since 2006, stimulating architects and designers towards a new perspective of design for innovating bathrooms. A corporate culture recognised by ADI, the Association for Industrial Design, which in 2008 invited ST Rubinetterie to become a member. This is where collaboration with the architect Simone Micheli came in. “I sought and selected him”, Alessia Saglio states, “introduced myself and made a proposal. From that moment, an intense professional alliance has grown, which over the years has also turned into friendship”. This is how ST Rubinetterie’s new challenge began: continually and constantly growing its capacity, making collections that leave their mark on the landscape. “One of our characteristic strong points”, emphasises Federico Sanna, sales director for ST Rubinetterie, “is customisation, on request, of all our products, almost in real time: a highly ‘tailored’ production process. Another innovative system of ‘top-level design systems’ brings us closer and closer to the world of designers, setting us apart as a company that has something truly new to offer”.
ISO 9002 certified, the company’s products are divided in three sections (design – contemporary – showers, accessories and complementary items) where each line is also complete in terms of technical details and can be and is used in the contract business. To these is added the special ‘arte’ section, with items that are unique in terms of shape, material, colour, emotions… ST Rubinetterie, a top-bracket producer, is sold through suitable retail outlets selected as the best interpreters of its philosophy. The supply chain is therefore used as a means to promote its image, a way of dialoguing with those most suited to metabolising the technical aspects that represent the base for its products.
