Matteo Thun’s collection is based on alternative applications of materials and moving away from the traditional ceramics that are often used in bathroom design and manufacture. Matteo was able to capitalise on VitrA’s formidable production facilities and advanced technologies to realise these new aesthetic and functional possibilities. Using materials as diverse as wood, marble, solid stone and glass and exploring shape and colour – Thun has produced a beautiful series of products, thus liberating the boundaries of more traditional bathroom design concepts and material usage within bathroom design.
Matteo Thun summed up the lush range of colour and material used with the working title ‘Water Jewels’. The new collection will surely be treasured by architects and designers for years to come.
