This is The Shower World by CERAMICA CIELO, a product range created to satisfy the most arduous requirements, and about to be previewed for the first time at CERSAIE 2010.
The keyword of this product line is innovation:
- in terms of materials, which range from ceramic in new exclusive finishes to the brand new technological material, Marmogres;
- in terms of dimensions, which range from traditional to extra-large sizes, making it possible to choose the optimal solution for each bathroom. The scope for personalization offered by The Shower World programme is endless: 18 different dimensions for the Cinquanta and Sessanta Collections and 56 standard sizes for the Venticinque Collection, allowing for the production of customized shapes and dimensions so that shower trays may be adapted to the particular spatial requirements of any bathroom.
A scope for personalization, therefore, which allows for the range of sizes to be stretched both ways, in length and width.

The Cinquanta and Sessanta Collections
Two solutions whose main features are comprised in their name: ceramic shower trays available in 18 different sizes, even in the maxi dimensions of 140 cm and in the heights/thicknesses of 5 and 6 centimetres respectively, supplied in various dimensions and a choice of floor-standing or built-in versions. All with coordinated tone-on-tone waste that lies flush with the shower tray.
Numerous stylistic and technical finishes to choose from in the Cinquanta and Sessanta Collections: glossy black, glossy white and anthracite – a CERAMICA CIELO exclusivewith its metallic grainy effect – are the shades on which the latest Ghost and Stone finishes are added, two exclusive surfaces deriving from the material research and manufacturing skills of CERAMICA CIELO.
Stone is a new enamel with the look of unrefined ceramic, capable of expressing the true nature of recently sprayed and unfired ceramic, which CERAMICA CIELO has specially developed in collaboration with the company’s art director, Michela Benaglia. The resulting finish is three-dimensional and textural which, with its accentuated roughness, almost similar to stone, turns the shower tray into a piece of sculpture with a natural non-slip effect, as well as preserving all the typical characteristics of ceramic. A revolutionary solution that transforms the shower tray into an exclusive and decorative object, destined to become the unquestioned protagonist of any bathroom interior.
Ghost is a uniquely original non-slip finish (designed by Michela Benaglia), whose effectiveness derives from the use of a highly graphic texture made up of simple symbols such as crosses, circles and squares. The result is a “now you see it, now you don’t” effect with tiny relief patterns that also provide a pleasant foot massage. Ghost is available in black and white.
Venticinque Collection
An extra slim collection– with a thickness of just 2.5 cm – offering maximum scope for personalization: presented in 56 standard versions as well as customized products. It is supplied in extra large formats: from 140 to 210 cm in length and from 70 to 100 cm in width.
All 56 standard models are finished on four sides so that they may be reversed, allowing for installation with left or right-hand waste.
On top of this immense variety of sizes, there is an absolutely unique opportunity: the possibility to produce personalized sizes and dimensions, while preserving the same shape of the shower tray, so that the product may be perfectly suited to the layout of the room allowing for an optimal use of floor space.
For example it is simple to produce a shower tray measuring 92 x187 cm, or obtain non-conventional products that provide the perfect solution to individual requirements.
An exclusive characteristic made possible by the use of Marmogres, the extremely hardwearing latest generation material made from a mix of resin and marble dust, with a tactile effect similar to stone. Its high density allows for an extra-slim thickness of just 2.5 centimetres, even for extra large sizes.
