A new object of desire goes on show at Cersaie 2009: Ceramica Cielo presents X-TECH. The latest offering for lovers of fashion and design: a collection that reflects the latest fashion trends, provoking through its sophisticated elegance and fascinating through the exclusive technology behind the design.
The expression of a brand new approach not just to materials and forms, but also to technology and production processes, X-TECH is a perfect example of Ceramica Cielo’s strong and continuous research and development, used to create unique and exclusive products on the international ceramic scene.
The name evokes the concept that inspired the project: the X represents the unknown factor in equations and thus the experimental and revolutionary nature of the product, while Tech refers to the technological innovation.
In fact, the new project is based on a brand new finish for the sector, which is highly resistant to corrosion and abrasion, and can be described as practically unassailable. This finish is used to coat the Jungle bathroom fittings, for a high impact aesthetic result with both satin and gloss reflections, created by the contrasts between the raised areas of the skins.
An innovative non-ceramic process, used for the first time in the bathroom fittings sector and developed specifically for Ceramica Cielo.
X-TECH is the evolution of Jungle, the collection that uses unusual materials for the sector, such as beautiful crocodile skins which mould and blend into the ceramic material, thanks to exclusive processing methods.
X-TECH is presented for the first time in two sophisticated finishes on crocodile skin: Platinum, metallic platinum, and Titanium, gun barrel. In fact, for the very first time, the extreme resistance of the new technology offers the possibility to create finishes typical of precious metals, which are however able to withstand use and maintenance. They are therefore ideal for prestigious contract developments.
X-TECH is a new must for the designer bathroom, where ceramic material, with its traditional connotations, clearly emerges with all the strength of the more contemporary hyper-decoration typical of Ceramica Cielo. The underlying philosophy is that behind all the company’s products, based on a combination of experimentation and tradition. A “made-to-measure” concept, like a tailored dress, finished with the manual skill of the best master craftsmen in order to turn every product into a “unique piece”, far away from industrial standardisation.
