Intensely material, visual and tactile: the new collections Rondine Group will be presenting at Cersaie 2011 feature fine marbles, natural essences and sophisticated quartzites, as well as the return of terracotta combined with majolica wall coverings. These are just some of the materials that will be combining with latest-generation ceramic technology to craft the products the Group from Rubiera will be bringing to Bologna from 20 to 24 September.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary in the business, Rondine Group will be coming to the sector’s most important fair in splendid shape, with six new Rondine collections and three new Sadon collections.
“This is undoubtedly a sign of great vitality and dynamism, confirming the constant growth of the Group, which today boasts four different brands and expects to register a turnover of over € 63 million for 2011– commented Fabio Ferrari, CEO of Rondine Group.
Rondine was founded in 1961, during a particularly fertile period for the world’s best-known ceramic district. Today it has become an important industrial group, with three factories and a well-established sales network at international level through the brands RHS, Sadon, Maioliche dell’Umbria and Fontana Bismantova.
“All this has allowed our Group to become a benchmark for the sector – explains Lauro Giacobazzi, President and Sales Manager of Rondine Group –, offering a wide range of top-quality products, which thanks to the acquisition in 2010 of the Sadon brand, has now been extended further with the addition of small-size tiles and skirting tiles in porcelain stoneware”.
The new Rondine collections for Cersaie 2011 range from a hi-tech concept of the home, with the Metropolis series, one of the most advanced expressions of porcelain stoneware technology, to Miniera, a modern take on traditional tufa stone, and Skema, which combines wood with terracotta and stone to create superb floor decorations inspired by historical residences. To give a subtly elegant air to the home, another idea from Rondine is Eramosa, a new collection inspired by the Canadian marble bearing the same name, featuring a sophisticated veining pattern and ideal for both contemporary and more classic architectures, as well as City, the series dedicated to urban design, for living spaces with a modern, essential air, and equally suitable for use outdoors.
Another important new feature making its debut at the fair are the new Legni di Rondine collections, an original take on classic woods, in which the pleasing consistency of the surfaces and the rich shades come together in an innovative 15 x 91 pressed size.
This ongoing commitment has led to the creation of innovative collections, sizes and shapes, of quality products able to reflect changing tastes, the requests of increasingly well-informed, demanding customers, and the trends evident in a wide-ranging, diverse international market.
Also present at Cersaie will be Sadon, the Rondine Group company specialised in the production of porcelain stoneware skirting tiles and small-size tiles, which will be presenting its latest creations, including the unique, ultra-small 6x45 cm size.
