Not far from Rome, Ceramica GLOBO’s brand new meeting centre has recently been inaugurated: a modern, minimalist structure housing a conference centre, showroom and multifunctional spaces. It covers an area of 600 m2, spread over two floors and displays all GLOBO’s interior solutions - collections of bathroom fittings, bathtubs, furniture and accessories - focusing the attention on the brand new lines designed by Luca Nichetto, Giulio Iacchetti and Creative Lab +.
The centre has been designed by the architect Romano Adolini, a professional with years of experience in design and interiors, who developed the new space according to the idea of creating an area inside the company, which could also be suitable for events and initiatives outside the business context.
Business meetings and conferences alternate with cultural events and local initiatives.
There is also a section which provides with information about all GLOBO’s architectural and design materials and a library containing documents regarding the history of ceramics and the Tuscia area.
In harmony with the rest of the existing architecture, the interior design focuses on formal and chromatic purity, featuring shades of white and natural wood.
“The new meeting centre represents a dream come true and marks an important step forward in the establishment of the GLOBO brand, which began with the mono-brand Concept Shop in Hong Kong (late 2010) and will continue with other similar openings in Italy as well as abroad, already scheduled for 2012,” said Andrea Gulinucci, Managing Director of Ceramica GLOBO Spa, just a few weeks away from the inauguration.
