New technologies, innovation and design research, new collections, and a corporate policy to optimise resources and know-how - the company's participation at this year’s fair is set to be full of changes. From 20th to 24th September 2011 Ceramica Fondovalle will be exhibiting at Cersaie, at stand A254-B26, Hall 25.
For Fondovalle, the event represents yet another opportunity to tackle a notoriously slumping market; an attempt that follows on from the company’s decision last year to implement a plan for total restructuring and technological renovation.
The phases (both complete and underway) that have characterised this profound change are outlined below: July 2010 Complete replacement of the firing plant (new Sacmi kiln), with all the loading and unloading machines, changed with a view, not only to improving production but also to providing systems that respect the environment and people. December 2010 Installation of the new sorting plant and the new System 4Phases packaging system for optimisation of ceramic packaging.
July 2011 Refurbishment of the paste colouring plants; refurbishment and replacement of previous glazing lines to allow for glazing sizes up to 120x120, with digital and rotocolor decoration lines (including three digital machines). Installation of a new Sacmi PH 7500 press with dryers and loading/unloading system; expansion and installation of the new storage system with plank shelving for both fired and unfired materials; With the double-pressed line (Bi+Fusion), the company now specialises in large sizes and – demonstrating the trust it places in the future – it has decided to boost its technology through the changes described earlier. It is with this spirit of renewal that Ceramica Fondovalle believes it will be able to take on the challenges of the 21st century.
The company's participation in Cersaie 2011 will be oriented around stone materials, natural materials, and digital decoration. Investment in technological development has led to Fondovalle designing and manufacturing five aesthetically and technically-advanced collections.
The following new collections will be showcased at the event : Originating from the Bi+Fusion brand: Luserna: perfectly blending the charm of quartzite and memories of Luserna Stone, this material lends interiors appeal through its stylish graphics and incredibly natural shades.
Four stone-inspired colours, teamed with four modular sizes and a contemporary feel, make Luserna ideal for prestigious, design-oriented homes and businesses.
Eighty Bleue: the greatness of a material that was born to decorate; Eighty Bleue’s versatility stems from the idea that tiling must, first and foremost, bring style to any area and enhance any setting. Inspired by the stone materials of the North it is available in both a straightened-edge, untreated version and a straightened-edge, lapped version, and this double finish makes it ideal for any use. With its sophisticated yet eclectic shades, Eighty Bleue offers designers both plain and graphical finishes. As captivating as it is functional, this tiling comes in two modular sizes, 80x80 and 40x80, and is designed to enhance both interiors with a contemporary feel and settings steeped in elegance.
Originating from the Fondovalle brand: Esquire - the glazed porcelain stoneware collection with straightened edges and natural stone inspiration; available in three colours and three sizes, the line offers decorative features and brings a new sense of space and perspective.
Crystall - a glazed porcelain stoneware collection with lapped finish and straightened edges. This stylish collection is designed to evoke the textures and beauty of silk and created to enhance interiors in homes and businesses with its elegance and design features. The collection is available in four colours, ideal for ultra-chic interiors, and comes in two sizes for floors and walls.
