For Refin, Cersaie 2011 is the opportunity to express, in an even stronger way than in previous years, its desire to meet the customers’ needs with a broad product offer born from the market and its needs.
The result is a product that represents an important innovative research including, not only technology, but also scientific research, creative flair and the rediscovery of tradition, the “know how to” that is typically Italian.
The experience that Ceramiche Refin has gained over the years in the ability to answer the many and varied needs of the project-planning industry as well as the constant search for new design solutions, has led to the creation of a ceramic collection, Cromie, that has a scientific approach to the market need for a consistent chromatic component and answers this need in a structural and final way.
Cromie does not offer architects and designers a “new” ceramic collection but “materializes” their chromatic desire for floor and wall cladding.
Thanks to the NCS-Natural Colour System®© used as a reference, Cromie embraces the world of project-planning in a complementary way, perfectly integrated with other design and architecture elements.
Designers and architects are offered the perfect tool to “naturally” complete their projectplanning repertoire. The chromatic palette of the collection, developed, for the first time in the ceramic industry, using the scientific criteria of brightness, saturation and shade, gives a broad, infinite horizon of opportunities.
While creating the Cromie collection, Ceramiche Refin has worked in partnership with professionals specializing in the chromatic element, such as architect Cristina Boeri, researcher and expert of colour and chromatic components.
For Refin, Cersaie is also the opportunity to express all its experience and know-how acquired by the creative laboratory DesignTaleStudio that, this year, has chosen to explore the potential of porcelain stoneware in a virgin territory: Mosaic.
Created in partnership with Massimiliano Adami, Mosaici d’Autore, in their three different versions, exalt the ceramic material and make us discover new evocative interpretations and technologies.
A creative use of tiles, the study on ceramic mixtures, glass and glaze as well as the study on their interaction with light, give this product a preciousness typical of ancient mosaics, yet with a strong contemporary connotation.
The designer’s mind and hands are the bridge between past and future, anticipating possible new planning solutions.
Ceramiche Refin 2011 product offer is completed by two collections “suggested” by the contract and interior design fields: Wood!, a re-interpretation of natural wood with a vintage mood, typical of modern commercial venues destined to young urban-style lovers. A collection that is further enhanced by a hi-tech ceramic mixture using top quality recycled materials.
Fabric is a collection evoking paper and textiles, a collection that delicately integrates with the living style without imposing intrusive aesthetic choices, but exalting the contemporary mood of the space.
