Ceramiche Supergres produce floor and wall tiles for the middle-high residential building market, a segment that is then subdivided into porcelain stoneware tiles for indoor and outdoor floors and white-body wall cladding for kitchens and bathrooms.
Ceramiche Supergres is part of the Gruppo Concorde, the second largest ceramic tile manufacturer in Italy in terms of sales and one of the most important in the world. This means that the company has some of the most avant-garde research and technology at its disposal, and which leads to the creation of successful products with innovative solutions both in terms of technology and design.
The company has a wide product range offering a variety of styles and solutions for unique living atmospheres that respect and mirror the different tastes and personality of the people who live in them: from the most glamorous of collections to the most classic, from the most romantic and refined to the most elegant and most design-conscious.
For Cersaie 2011, Ceramiche Supergres will launch numerous new products: the Selection seriesin large sizes, two white-body wall collections in 20x50, Diva with glossy finish and Twill with satin finish and the Petali series with glossy finish, in white-body offered in the new non-rectified 25x75 size.
The company will also introduce three new floor series in porcelain stoneware, suitable for residential and commercial venues: Selection Floor, inspired by marble and available in honed and natural finish, Stockholm, in 5 shades and 4 sizes and the Everstone collection, a project that reinterprets three European natural stones, limestone, jura and pierre de Bourgogne, available in four colours and four sizes.
The new floor collections will shortly be granted Ecolabel certification, putting them on a par with all the other floor coverings already in the company’s range; many of these collections comprise recycled material, therefore are also able to attain LEED credits if used in the construction of eco-sustainable and “green” buildings.
The latest collections are yet more evidence of the constant commitment of Ceramiche Supergres towards safeguarding the environment, a commitment that has led to the introduction of innovative production processes that reduce waste and make the best use of available resources. A “green” philosophy that is at the heart of every single corporate activity and that, over the years, has seen the company obtain numerous awards, such as the latest awards (GPP 2010 “Sustainable Project and Green Public Procurement 2010” and the Ecohitech Award 2009 in/for the category “Hi-tech Eco-virtuous Products”) obtained by the A.I.R. collection, produced using a high percentage of post-consumer recycled material.
