One of the founding principles of Rondine is awareness of and respect for the environment. This is why Rondine Group has adopted the UNI EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and obtained ECOLABEL certification, thus guaranteeing all its products are eco-friendly. This means that the entire manufacturing cycle of the Group’s tiles – from the selection of the raw materials through to waste disposal at the end of the process – guarantees maximum energy saving, efficient management of emissions into the air, water and soil, the use of natural resources, environmental safety, minimum waste and the safeguarding of biodiversity.
The Group has also adopted all the environmental management systems provided for under the EMAS Regulation, and is a member of the Green Building Council Italia, an independent body whose aim is to promote a sustainable building culture, and in particular the independent certification system LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
All Rondine Group products contain at least 40% recycled materials, which allow those who use them to obtain important LEED credits, thus making an important contribution to the construction of high-performance, “green” buildings that are sustainable and self-sufficient in terms of energy.
