Hoesch Water Lounge celebrates its premiere at ISH
 

That is wellness, pure and simple: a comfortable surface to lie on, light and water combined with a gentle air massage. The traditionally-minded company Hoesch has come up with a totally new concept for "wellness and quality bath solutions" which combines these essential features: the new Hoesch Water Lounge. The new product celebrated its premiere prominently displayed in an exclusive white setting on the ISH fair stand.
 
Over 200 years ago the German poet Goethe described man's intimate connection with water, when he said that "the soul of man is like water". With the innovation being presented in Frankfurt for the first time Hoesch is breaking new ground and reaffirming its competence and its visionary pioneering role. Bathing and washing become a relaxing experience no longer concealed behind the bathroom door. The Water Lounge, developed by the Aachen design bureau NOA, combines innovative design with premium quality and actively supports the transformation of the bathroom into an adventure area. The act of bathing no longer takes place in secret but comes even more a part of every day life.
 
Discover new horizons with a pioneering concept study
The transparency of the element of water is reflected in the material used in the ground-breaking Water Lounge concept study. The well-known traditional tub principle is broken with: here you lie freely in a transparent cube of glass. You lie down on a comfortable lounger resting on a filigree metal structure with water playing around you. The lounger is comfortably lined with ergonomic body cushions through the spaces between which soft air bubbles penetrate to gently massage and pamper you.
 
Spotlight on in the new Water Lounge
A swivelling table integrated into the lounge provides a surface to put, for example, your latest reading matter or a cool refreshing drink on. The reading lamp, which is connected to the table and via an electrical remote control functions at the same time as a water inlet, ensures optimum visibility. It can be swivelled through 90 degrees, and the spotlight can be focused on any point in the Water Lounge.
 
Materials, aesthetics and function at the highest level
It goes without saying that high-quality material for all component assemblies and an expensive production technique were used for the Water Lounge. Because this claim lies behind all Hoesch products. Precisely this quality is also more than a fundamental requirement for the future design-minded category of buyer which the Water Lounge is aimed at, as are also the aesthetic and functional aspects. Incorporating all these attributes, this fascinating wellness experiment represents a unique symbiosis. Water combined with outstanding design: they bring a touch of extravagance, but not an obtrusive one.
 
Maximum transparency in an outstanding bath solution
The striking Hoesch innovation becomes an icon in the search for outstanding bath solutions, and the maximally transparent glass body becomes a novelty in the industry. "With the Water Lounge we are venturing to look into the wellness world of tomorrow, also for the benefit of our customers. I am certain that with this innovative and attractively designed product Hoesch will once again achieve a unique selling position in the industry," is how Klaus Marschall, director of sales, confidently summed up the claims.
